Bespoke home visit service and DIY casting kit

How old does my baby have to be for a casting?
We can do casts from birth. We take the impressions using a soft organic clay made of edible flour so it is completely safe and gentle for your baby.

How long will it take for the casting home visit?
Our casting visits for frames will take a maximum of one hour. Freestanding casts usually take two hours for a family of four, larger families and groups may take longer.  

Are the materials used for impressions safe?
Our materials are completely safe. We use an organic clay made of edible flour for our impressions.

How can I pay?
Payment is taken at the time of casting as all materials are used or ordered from this point.
You can pay by Cash, Debit/Credit Card, Bank Transfer or Paypal.

How long will it take to complete my order?
It takes a maximum of 6 to 8 weeks from our casting visit to completion of your order. 

How many family members hands can you mount in one frame?
We can mount any number of family members hands in a bespoke (not standard frame) frame. If you call us we can give you an accurate quote.

How many family members hands can be in a free standing cast?
We can cast as many family members hands as you require for your freestanding cast. When booking and during our casting visit we will discuss with you design options for your particular number of casts.

I have broken my frame what can I do?
We do offer a repair service at an additional cost. Please call us with details of damage and we can advise on a repair.

I live out of your area for home visits can you still do my casts?
We work within a 20 mile radius of Sutton Coldfield for home visits however if you do live further away you would be most welcome to visit us.

If you visit us for your casting you will then have your frame sent back to you via post this may incur an additional postage charge or you can collect from us. Your frame will be insured and tracked and you will receive message updates.


I have ordered a DIY Kit how long will it take to arrive?
Orders within UK will take 2-3 working days to arrive. You will receive email/text alert message updates.

Do I have to get my own plaque with a DIY Kit?
No we will supply the plaque for your DIY Kit. If you email or message us the details you would like on your plaque we will get them engraved and return it to you via post. Once we receive the details you would like engraving you should receive your plaque within 5 working days.

Do you offer a discount if I order more than one frame?
We do offer a discount for multiple frames. Your first frame would be full price then each additional frame thereafter would receive a 5% discount.

I don’t like the background choice shown on the website do you have any alternatives?
Yes we do. We can do plain backgrounds or something more tailored to your requirements just discuss it with us during your casting visit.

Do you do gift vouchers?
We offer gift vouchers from £9 these can be used as a part payment or we do vouchers up to the full payment.

My child is at School/Nursery do you do weekend appointments?
We do offer appointments most weekends.

Do I need to give you a photograph or do you do it?
We ask you to provide a photograph of your child/children for the centre of your frame. We can however recommend a photographer if you would like a professional photograph (additional cost). Just ask us for details if that is something you may be thinking of.


 
Personalised Gifts 
 
How long will it take for my personalised items to arrive?
Your personalised item will arrive within 5-7 working days with standard delivery.
 
How much is the delivery charge?
Delivery is free with all of our personalised gifts.
 
Will I get a receipt for my purchase and will there be an invoice with the gift?
Once you purchase your item you will be sent a confirmation and receipt via email. There will be no price details or invoice included with your gift.
 
Do you ship orders overseas?
We do not currently ship overseas.
 
How will I know if my order is on its way?
Once we despatch your order, we will send you an email to say your order is on its way.
 
Can you gift wrap my item?
Yes we do offer a gift wrap service but not on all items. Check the item you are ordering to see if the gift wrap service is available.
 
An item I ordered has arrived damaged or is wrong?
If your item has arrived damaged or is wrong please contact us and we will be able to assist you further.                                                                                                                                           
If your item arrived damaged it would be helpful if you could take photographs of the damaged packaging and any damage to your ordered items.
   
 Can I order large quantities i.e. for a wedding or party?
Yes, that’s no problem. Just contact us before placing your order and we can see what we can offer you.
 
Do you offer a discount if I buy multiple items?
Currently we do not offer any discounts on items ordered under 100 items.
 
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal or Mom’s Present Gift voucher.

 Terms and Conditions

Pictures of jewellery items on our website are for display purposes only. Our bespoke jewellery is individually handmade, and items will have small differences and surface imperfections which makes them unique and adds to their charm.

When ordering fingerprint jewellery pieces, please be mindful that children under the age of 6 months don’t have a well-defined fingerprint. If you would like a piece of jewellery with more detail, we would recommend that you order after your child reaches the age of 6 months.

We cannot be held responsible for any incorrect details given during the ordering process. Please ensure you check carefully that you have entered the correct spellings, dates, inscriptions, etc… Once we receive your order, you will receive a confirmation email to the email address supplied. Please check the details in this confirmation email to ensure they are all correct. If you wish to change your order you MUST email the changes within 24 hours of placing your order. After this time, we will be unable to amend orders.

Inkless Wipe Kits
If you order an inkless wipe kit this will be despatched to you within 24 hours. You must return this to us within 3 months of your original order date. Full instructions are included in the wipe kit and we have an instructional video on our website. We cannot accept responsibility for poor prints so please follow the instructions carefully.
If we receive your prints back and they are not suitable, we will contact you. This may result in extra cost to buy another kit.

Repeat Orders
If you are placing a repeat order or you are a previous client, it may not be possible to offer an identical product. We will endeavour to match your products as closely as possible. You are purchasing a bespoke, handmade, one-off piece of jewellery with the individual charm that brings.

Cancellation
If you would like to cancel your order, you must email us at mail@momspresent.co.uk within 24 hours of placing your order. You will receive a refund on any items not yet despatched to you.

Returns
We will only accept returns on items that are damaged or faulty upon delivery. You must inform us immediately and provide pictures if this is the case and we will give you details on how to return your item.
As items are personalised, only damaged and faulty items reported on receipt will be accepted under or returns policy.
 

Delivery Times Personal Gift Orders
You will receive personalised gift orders in a presentation gift box within 7 working days of placing your order. If you need your order sooner, please contact us directly to see if we can facilitate your request.

UK postage is included as standard, any express shipping will be at an additional cost.
Overseas orders will need to contact us directly for shipping costs.

Delivery Times for Bespoke Casting Services
You will receive your frame/casts within 6-8 weeks after your casting appointment. Frames may be delivered by courier.
